BASED ON THE STATISTICS OF THE NATIONAL CANCER INSTITUTE:
– An estimated 1,685,210 new cases of cancer will be diagnosed in the United States in 2016 and 595,690 people will die from it.
– In 2016, the most common types of cancer are projected to be the following: breast cancer, lung and bronchus cancer, prostate cancer, colon and rectum cancer, bladder cancer, melanoma of the skin, non-Hodgkin lymphoma, thyroid cancer, kidney and renal pelvis cancer, leukemia, endometrial cancer, and pancreatic cancer.
– The number of some new cases of cancer (cancer incidence) is 454.8 per 100,000 men and women per year (based on 2008-2012 cases).
– The number of cancer deaths/cancer mortality is 171.2 per 100,000 men and women per year (based on 2008-2012 deaths).
– Cancer mortality is actually higher among men than women (207.9 per 100,000 men and 145.4 per 100,000 women). The highest mortality was in African American men (261.5 per 100,000) and the lowest is in Asian/Pacific Islander women (91.2 per 100,000). (Based on 2008-2012 deaths.)
– The number of people who were living beyond a cancer diagnosis reached nearly 14.5 million in 2014 and is expected to rise to almost 19 million by 2024.
– Approximately, about 39.6 percent of men and women will be diagnosed with cancer at some point during their lifetimes (based on 2010-2012 data).
– An estimated 15,780 children and adolescents ages 0 to 19 were diagnosed with cancer in 2014 and 1,960 died of the disease.
– The national expenditures for cancer care in the United States totaled nearly $125 billion in 2010 and could reach $156 billion in 2020.
Unluckily, the statistics lately show that approximately 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will suffer from cancer in their lifetime. What makes all this even worse is the fact that there is still not found a way for treating the cancer, as well as for curing it and the treatment that we use now s not only inefficient but some researches show that it only makes the symptoms even worse.
Berkley doctor Hardin B Jones who is actually a former professor of medical physics and physiology claims that chemotherapy does not work and that it is a hoax in the billion-dollar cancer industry. He also claims that the only reason why doctors prescribe chemotherapy as a treatment for cancer it’s because of the money they earn from it.
The fact that one average cancer treatment costs somewhere between $300,000 and even up to $1,000,000 makes the doctor’s statement more reasonable.
Dr. Jones has come to the conclusion that chemotherapy does more harm to the patients than actually it treats the cancer, based on his research in the last 25 years. He says that those people who refuse chemotherapy treatment live on average around 12 years longer than those people who actually accept the chemotherapy treatment. Most of the patients who undergo chemotherapy die in time frame of 3 years since they are diagnosed with cancer and some much faster than that (within few weeks since being diagnosed.). The doctor also claims that patients with breast cancer who reject treatment can actually live four times longer than those undergoing chemotherapy.
Nowadays, America spends $8,713 per capita on healthcare, more than any other high-income nation in the world and their life expectancy is only 78,8 years. This is mostly because of the fact that the media and the healthcare system in general focus way more on treating diseases and conditions which actually teach the people about the importance of preventative medicine. This is the reason why we need to educate ourselves about the treatments and cures for some different diseases and conditions.
